The LEGO 75645 Battle at Drum Castle is the largest castle themed set released in 2026, following the 31168 Medieval Horse Knight Castle from 2025. Naturally, after completing my Book Nook alternate build, I partially disassembled it and took the second Drum Castle set to combine the both into a much larger Winter Castle.

I researched how Drum Castle is depicted in ONE PIECE and used the original castle as the basis for my design. While LEGO 75645 captures the basic character of Drum Castle, having two copies provided an opportunity to create something much closer to the grand and imposing fortress seen in the source material.

The result is a redesigned castle that feels at home on a snowy mountain in the world of ONE PIECE, while also working beautifully as a standalone medieval winter castle.

The Winter Castle features fairy tale inspired architecture, with a tall central keep flanked by two towers, steep snow covered gable roofs and soaring conical spires. Two large outer towers surround the main structure, creating a dramatic and highly vertical silhouette.

The facade features Gothic style arched windows, stone walls, projecting masonry, decorative buttresses and extensive snow covered detailing. At the centre is a substantial entrance and gatehouse, giving the lower section of the castle a strong fortified appearance.

The rear of the model opens up to reveal a fully detailed multi-level interior. Several floors contain individual rooms with furniture, decorations and architectural details, including a large throne room at the top of the keep, living spaces, working areas and storage rooms.

The open rear design makes the interior easy to view and access, while retaining the imposing appearance of the castle when displayed from the front.

The Winter Castle transforms two copies of LEGO 75645 into a towering winter fortress, expanding on the original Drum Castle with a larger architectural footprint, dramatic towers and spires, and a fully decorated interior.
