Lockdown was a Cybertronian bounty hunter. He was a Decepticon once until he abandoned the cause and became a mercenary. He traveled the stars with a team of fellow mercenaries in a ship, previously belonging to a group of legendary knights, which Lockdown stole and turned into his personal prison.

Design : Rewatching every Transformers movies got me inspired. I really like Lockdown, he is in my opinion one of the best antagonist in the Transformers movies, he is also one of my favorite characters so it’s only right he is the first one I recreate in Lego form. My goal was to make him as accurate as I could, and have the possibility to give him different poses (he has articulations in the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, fingers, torso, hips, knees, ankles and toes).

This model is 22cms tall.

IMPORTANT : -This model has been physically tested to guarantee the build quality. -This is a display model, it’s not meant to be played with. He stands very well on his own, no need for extra support, but he is still relatively fragile, especially the connection of the torso to the hips. You will be able to give him different poses (see renders and pictures for a few examples). -He does not transform. Having to make him actually transform would have meant making compromises to the robot mode, so I chose to not do that to have him be as accurate as I could make him. -I made an upgrade pack with different heads, arm atttachments and weapons specially made for Lockdown. You can, if you want, purchase it on my Openstuds page. -For the black hoses (part number : 75c04) I advise to get longer ones and cut them to the correct length once you are at the corresponding building step, it will make it much easier to give them the correct shape (they are placed around the neck area).
