Imperial Consular-Class Cruiser

from Star Wars: Alternatives

Star Wars: Alternatives is my original idea for Star Wars What if..? comic. The story takes place 4-5 years after the events of ROTS. The main character, along with a group of mid-level officers, wants to overthrow Palpatine's rule and appoint Vader as the new emperor. Vader himself still has glimpses of the prophecy that he is the chosen one. The main conflict that the comic focuses on is between Palpatine's supporters and the forces of the newly formed movement within the Empire.

The books about the war with the Yuuzhang Vong and the comics from the Legacy series were a major inspiration for creating the story.

The Imperial Consular-Class that the main character uses serves as one of his main operational bases. It is armed with 8 turbolasers and homing torpedoes. The crew consisted of SpecOps clones.

The set includes space for a pilot, an escape pod for 2 figures, space for 4 squad members, and 2 gunner positions. The vehicle also has a deployable landing gear. I based it on set 7665 when creating it.
