TIE Fighter

About this MOC

I have designed this custom TIE Fighter from the ground up, inspired by the overall design direction of LEGO set 75300. The cockpit pod is entirely original and captures many of the iconic details of the Imperial starfighter. It features a more accurate shape, a cleaner light-bluish gray color scheme, adjustable flight controls inside the cockpit, and improved ion engine detailing. The pod is also two studs wider for more screen-accurate proportions. The wings retain the familiar framework, although the tiling has been redesigned to reduce exposed studs and enhance surface detail — resulting in a sleeker, more faithful profile.

Parts Note

You can use either the TIE cockpit part 18675pb02 from the LEGO set 75300 (shown in my renderings and included in the parts list) or swap it for part 18675pb23 from the more recent LEGO set 75348 (Mandalorian Fang Fighter vs TIE Interceptor).
