2 UPDATE: I’ve revisited my Arkham Knight Battle Mode Batmobile and given it some proportional upgrades. The biggest improvement is a much more accurate cockpit that better captures the look of the in-game vehicle while keeping the full transformation into Battle Mode unchanged. It is no longer translucent, but now includes a hinge to insert Batman! The updated instructions will be found below. If you’ve already built the original, this is a solid upgrade. More details coming soon!

As an answer to the much-requested Battle Mode for my original LEGO Arkham Knight Batmobile alternate build, comes a new and improved version! Utilizing only parts from set 76303 Batman™ Tumbler vs. Two-Face™ & The Joker™ and LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Wild Animals: Surprising Spider (31159), you can build an upgraded Arkham Knight Batmobile capable of transforming with ease.

Built using only parts from both sets, plus a handful of the spare elements included with them, this model features a fully realized Tank Mode. With a quick transformation, the wheels extend outward and a roof-mounted turret deploys, turning the Batmobile from a high-speed pursuit vehicle into a heavily armored combat tank. A string tow line is also included for extra Batman: Arkham Knight display options.

This updated version incorporates many of the most requested improvements from the original design, resulting in a sturdier build, cleaner shaping, and a more faithful Battle Mode transformation. Whether you’re patrolling the streets of Gotham or taking on an army of unmanned drones, this Batmobile is ready for duty.
