The TIE Phantom is originally from the game Rebel Assault 2 and has since been included in the X-Wing miniatures game. This LEGO version seeks to replicate that model specifically.

The goal of this TIE Phantom MOC is to attempt to match the X-Wing miniatures version as closely as possible. I've used only 100% legal building techniques and tried to make the model as stable as possible. This MOC is best on display but can be gripped by the wings or palmed by the engine and swooshed.

The cockpit opens easily and accommodates two minifigs staggered side-by-side like in the videogame Rebel Assault 2.

I tried to minimize rare pieces wherever possible, but the main structure of the build depends on the hexagonal modified plates (27255) which are no longer in production but still a relatively modern piece. Another thing to note is that the piece 99206 is required, not the newer mold 4304. They are slightly different.

NOTE: The white parts in the instructions can be substituted for any color!
