The Mekhis Class Assault Fighter is a specialized fighter unit used by Dark Acolytes in the Old Republic. Sienar Fleet Systems worked in conjunction with the Kilran Family to design this ship, naming it after Darth Mekhis who, along with Rycus Kilran, designed the legendary Fury-Class Imperial Interceptor of the Sith Empire.

This ship served in similar role to the Sith Infiltrator, Darth Maul's ship, but it also served as a heavy support Fighter in dogfights. The cockpit is a special shape which would eventually be used for the TIE Reaper of the Galactic Empire as well as the Upsilon-Class Command Shuttle, also known as Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle. The Wings were heavily based off of the Fury-Class Imperial Interceptor, hence the name of the ship as well as affiliations.

Notes: This fighter is completely my own design, borrowing elements from the 2015 Kylo Ren's Shuttle Set as well as the 2012 Sith Fury-Class Interceptor set. All lore is made by me and not part of Official Star Wars Canon, only my own Head Canon.
