The D-72w Oppressor flame projector was a flamethrower used by Incinerator troopers, a specialized type of Imperial stormtrooper equipped for close-quarters combat and area denial. They wear modified armor with heat resistance and carry D-72ws to flush enemies out of cover or clear fortified positions.

These units are typically deployed when conventional blaster fire is ineffective or when the Empire intends to destroy targets rather than capture them.

P.S. The D-72w Oppressor flame projector is paired with the Red TK Flametrooper Custom Minifigure by Grandpa Clone Customs. Needless to say, such a minifigure is not included in the MOC.
